The inspiration for this whole ideabook came from this photo in Becky's Dorothy Draper ideabook. I love the sophisticated use of two colors that are often found mostly in little girls' rooms.
This is a great use of the bright version of the colors - and I love how the combination pairs with turquoise.
One little bright green stuffed animal offers great balance to this room's pinks.
Pink and green is a natural color combo outside. We have a tree in our front yard that looks just like this - for about two weeks a year. For the next two weeks, it looks like we've had a pink snowstorm just in our yard.
I love this hot pink, and the way it works with just a little green and lots of white.
This floral arrangement shows off a very grownup (and very mid-century) version of the pink and green combo.
I absolutely love this bed - it would be great in a lot of rooms, but I think it's fabulous in this pale pink space.
Without the small green accents, this pink would surely be overwhelming (even with the white bed). But with the green, it looks great.
I can't lie - I love Lilly Pulitzer! Her patterns are great on clothes, but they're also fantastic in little spurts, like on pillows.
Sometimes creating a perfect color combination is simply a matter of adding a couple of flowers with some strong green leaves.
