bathrooms in general
Good way to disguise the stupid cabinet over our toilet.
cool floor. I like how it mixes with the toilet and the sink. Good juxtaposition of modern and traditional. Very classic in the Classical Greek sense of the word.
Note how the wallpaper integrates the vanity material. If we did that granite sink vanity from Costco, we could "tie the room together" with something that repeats those colors. Interesting idea.
Something very Aunt Marj and Uncle Jim like about this powder room.
Same proportions as our bathroom. Imagine with Ikea vanity, same toilet, Marmoleum Croco floor.
I think it is possible to get this strie tile inexpensively, combined with the floating vanity and the modern toilet, it's clean, sleek, and hotel-like.
I like this aesthetic.
tile is not bad
Look! A trash can sits next to the toilet, just like in REAL bathrooms! Cool tile mix with the sleek toilet.
Hmm. An idea I had not thought of. Could you do slate tiles next to the tub? Would that work? Hmmm. Could be fun! I saw slate tiles at Lowes, just a few days ago. Merely one wall in slate would be an excellent, washable art surface, and would not dominate the room.
Love these polished nickel lights, and the tile.
If it were possible to do this in our hall bath, I would love to do it. A. I love the sconce mounted in the glass, B. I love how the mirror reflects the light all around, C. I like how there is also a side-splash here.
Neat mix of traditional with modern, East and West.
Example of black shiny vanity
I think the Hotel-like shelves above the toilet are Ikea kitchen shelves.
Consider vessel sink on existing vanity.
Fresh 'n' minty!
I like the knobs on the walnut vanity and the 1920's looking molding and stuff.
I likethe ornate silver mirrors.
I'd get this tub, if we could.
Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony.
Look at deep blue cabinets on righthand side. Very pretty! Good idea to plagiarize for a bathroom.
mahogany with brass in the vanity, chrome elsewhere. Great light fixture!
mirror/light combo. colors
love the mix of the blue with the neutrals -- ONCE AGAIN!
Horizontal mirror with sconces looks cool
oversized scale wallpaper, neat tile
tile is beautiful! it is the star of the room! I also love the Dr. Martin's office style door. I wonder if we could get one like that for our bathroom, so some daylight could come in from the bedroom.
While I don't need a closeup on their stupid basket of toiletries, if you look beyond to the neat wallpaper, that is cool.
I love the traditional/glamorous loook of this, as well as how they laid the tile horizontally, then vertically, to create a basketweave like texture. The mirror is the bomb.
elegant and serene, hate the starfish, love all the permanent parts
If one were to use all modern, or retro-rocket,-Buck-Rogers-esque bathroom things, this wallpaper would be really cool with it. It might feel too 1980's colonial, if I used my usual taste in furnishings.
I like the red lacquered mirror.
This bathroom is utterly delightful! I love, love, love, love it! Who couldn't enjoy taking a bath in here. Also, note that marmoleum could be used to achieve the look.
This is a great use of mahogany that doesn't look grandmothery or too feminine OR masculine. It's a great mix of modern and traditional.
consider faucets set in counter
Maybe I could get a scrap of granite for the bathroom, and just drop in a sink
I like the use of this painted-black server as a vanity, with the big marble tiles.
mirror, color, gold, turquoise, blanc et noir
beveled glass with the black and white
mirrored bits, black and white, elegant
