different shapes of shelf units
Cupboards on lower level
Glass front cupboards & drawers on lower level
how to finish off the top of the bookshelves in room with tall ceiling. Too gawdy for me, but I need something like this.
Like the upper look of this. Want my focus to be the bookshelves, not the mantle & above. Don't want the fireplace to look too little ... fine balance! Want a big clock above the mantle, but also would like more shelves above the clock.
Would love to do this on many walls! A house of books :) Heavenly
This has potential ... only in wood, no curves, taller & with a ladder. Like the mixture of shelves & cupboards. Would consider glass fronts with something to look like chicken wire!
Think the wall on the left, with the fireplace in the middle. Put fireplace between the 2 stacks w/ drawers and embellis above the fireplace (room for clock, added shelves above that area)
Do we need to do something like this to make it flow better ... with the slant of the ceiling line??? I like it, but want the focus to be the bookshelves!
This is it! The wall on the left! Simply add a brass rod along the top for the ladder!
Added only for possibilities of top ~ how to finish it off with slanted ceiling.
Could possibly close in the top above mine like this ... not sure how it would work along the staircase.
Another interesting way to finish it off!
Here we go!!! Only in wood, no TV (clock!) Could add windows above as here, only in appropriate shape.
LOVE the ladder! I have that ladder :)
This has potential for railing in family room. Finish off in either wood or sheetrock on the overhang side facing the living room.
Note ladder & brass tubing.
Never thought about this before, but would entertain the possibility of animal mounts above the bookshelves! Gotta put them somewhere :)
Beautiful ... could this be duplicated on both sides? With shelving above a clock above the mantle.
Interesting top ... could it work with what we have?
Love this ... with a fireplace in the middle and some cupboards on the bottom!
Note wheels on bottom of ladder :)
Would this work for the top? Only in wood! I like how it is more casual, less formal. But want it to be warm & inviting (wood)
Another ladder ... easy to see with colors
Options for top shelves. Fireplace where walkway is.
This is pretty ... need more bookshelves!
I like the uneven heights of the shelves, but want there to be more of them ... more cubicle areas for different sized books, artifacts, etc.
FUN! Not for the living room, but maybe my craft room someday!
Love this bathtub ... but that's for another time!
Like the light on the support between the stacks of shelves
