The Moroccan pouf has become a must-have home accessory. Its versatility and simple design make it the perfect functional accent for any space. As a footstool in a den, a perch in a bedroom or children's seating in a play spot, it can work in so many ways. And the marketplace has really taken the original and designed so many wonderful variations in shape, pattern and color. It's now easy to find just the right pouf to add to your own home. Enjoy some of my favorite pouf picks! — Daniela from Aesthetic Oiseau
I love the two-toned nature of this pouf. It almost has a striped quality.
This is what I think of as the original Moroccan pouf — done in leather in a natural tone. Gorgeous!
Using a metallic pouf is one of my favorite ways to bring dimension to a room.
The black and white color combination keeps this pouf very graphic and chic.
Here's another traditional option done in a beautiful peacock blue. I especially love the pattern on this one.
I think Land of Nod has some of the best takes on the pouf. This one is faux leather, meaning super easy cleanup for a playroom space. Plus, it comes in all sorts of juicy colors for well under $100.
Knitted poufs can add a dose of softness to a modern space.
I thought the braided texture of this pouf was unique, and I love the mustard hue.
I really, really love these square ottomans from West Elm. This chevron has a unique tribal quality to it.
Yellow and gray is a hot color combination right now, and I love how they come together on this ottoman.
Denim blue hues and a geometric pattern combine so beautifully on this ottoman. It would look great against a richly toned hardwood floor.
Take your pouf outdoors! This vibrant pattern would look great on a patio and can hold up to the elements.
I adore the mud cloth look of this one, and the black and white pattern would mix well with almost any color palette.
Whimsical stripes and pom-poms make this pouf adorable and friendly.
This very simple pouf with a cute monogram makes for wonderful children's seating.
I think this one would also be a great option for outdoors. The stripe and color combination is so fun.
These poufs are hand-painted canvas. The pastel colors are just stunning, and I would love a big pile of these!
I could see this Union Jack pouf right at home in a teenager's bedroom.
The tight chevron and punchy hue of these ottomans are preppy and sweet, making them perfect for a playspace.
