Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. It's a new awakening period to refresh and update old, sagging pieces, tired decor and heavy winter items. It's a promise of warmth and sunny days to come. I've gathered a few of my favorite spring-inspired pieces to lift the general mood in your home this month. — Sasha from Lemonade Makin' Mama
Not only do I love the classic Adirondack chair design, but the glossy green apple color draws me in.
The sunny stripes make me want to reorganize my hutch and make room to display this pretty bowl.
I love laundering all of my bedding this time of year and tugging heavy quilts off to be packed away. These are the lovely replacements. The subtle colors and lightweight and supple linen fabric make these quilts a great choice for spring updating.
As sunshine begins peeking out on a more regular basis, why not bounce a little (or a lot) of it back inside the house for a springy touch? I love the idea of hanging several beveled mirrors like these on a sun-catching wall.
Everything will soon be blooming, but while we wait, a print of these gorgeous flowers with a blue sky background will tide us over.
I love the wide band of goldenrod woven through these curtain panels. I daresay they would look smashing in any room.
I'm pretty sure I squealed when I found this Le Creuset pot in quince. A cheerier spring color will never be found. This pot is perfection for whipping up spring dinner fare and cute enough to leave out as stove jewelry all year long.
When spring cleaning urges hit and you feel tempted to rearrange furniture, this turquoise owl table is an affordably sweet change.
I bring a lot of tulips and daffodils indoors this time of year and am always looking for a simple container to host their nodding blooms. I have fallen in love with this creamy porcelain jar.
Embroidery is on trend right now, and you can enjoy a cheery pop of spring with this golden embroidered pillow cover. It's a great way to breathe fresh life into your sofa.
I'm not going to lie. I got very excited when I stumbled upon these embroidered etiquette napkins. Not only do they look like the hand-embroidered handkerchiefs my grandmother still carries, but they also have the words "dab," "pat," "wipe" and "blot" on them. How quaint.
The best thing about this brightly colored flower shower curtain is that the pattern is reversible, making for a quick change whenever you want.
Do you suffer from commitment issues when it comes to trendy or in-your-face designs? This temporary wallpaper is a great solution. Try out a shimmery chevron while knowing that it can always come down next season.
Simple slipper chairs are great for just about any room. This one has an endearing turquoise chevron zigzag that almost reminds me of water.
There isn't much that I love more than sunshine yellow as springtime approaches, unless it's bold, sunny stripes covering my floor. These rugs will be a happy pop of color just for your feet.
Coral is one of my favorite springtime colors, and I love covering a lighter-weight duvet with a fresh cover like this one.
What is more spring inspired than a wastebasket covered in tangerine orange and hot pink?
This simple posy painting in rosy hues rests against a background of XOXO-style hugs and kisses.
Green apple gets me every time. It feels like the loudmouth of spring colors. I can visualize many a spring evening on the porch with my feet propped up on this green apple beauty.
