Guest Picks: Laundry Baskets
My little family and I are renting a small apartment just outside of NYC and I am always looking for great ways to make the space our own. I do a lot of projects myself that I often share on my blog, Ardor (www.ardorblog.com)

I am currently on the hunt for the perfect laundry basket. It's not really the kind of thing you would think to spend a lot of time on, but there are so many variables to think about! Which one is perfect for your family? — Kersey from Ardor
Half Moon Laundry Basket - $115
I love the design and the simple colors. This would most definitely go in my room.
Wire Mesh Storage, Rectangular Hamper - $59
Wire mesh for a laundry basket? Yes, please! I love the industrial feel to this one.
Charming Hamper, Herringbone/Aqua - $89
I am in love with this basket. The color is fantastic, and I love the pattern.
Triangle Laundry Basket - $115
This must be mine! I love the design, and the leather handles are the perfect touch.
Large Round Circles Hamper - $14.99
This is the classic plastic laundry basket — but tall and oh-so-colorful. I love that these are vertical instead of horizontal. They take up less space, which is definitely a plus.
Coiled Rope Laundry Basket - $79
I love a great rope laundry basket. I would use this for only my clothes. Not the boys. It's too pretty for them.
Neu Home Jumbo Laundry Basket With Canvas Bag - $47.99
This looks like it belongs in a hotel, doesn't it? The canvas bag would be easy to remove and clean, and the metal frame gives it support. Oh, and the wheels? Perfect for my house.
Narita Hooded Carry-Liner, Yellow, Mini - $14.99
This one would be perfect for city living. Fill it with clothes and wheel it on down to the local Laundromat. I wish I would have thought of this when I lived in New York.
Grid Hamper - $119
I really like the grid look of this hamper. It's simple but adds a little design too.
Water Hyacinth Hamper and Liner Set - $79
This one kind of looks like chaotic wood chips — and I love that about it! Also, the lid and handles are nice.
Divided Gray Tote - $24.95
I might actually start to divide my colors if I had this one. The divider is a great feature on a simple laundry tote.
Round Crunch Cans - $19.99
I have a love-hate relationship with collapsible baskets. But this one looks like it would be worth trying out.
Rundel Laundry Bin - $44.99
A metal laundry basket? Yes, please! It looks so fancy, doesn't it? I would put this in a guest room so that I could show it off to guests.
Horizon Round Crunch Can by Umbra - $19.99
I would love to get two colors of these pretty ombré laundry baskets — one for clean and one for dirty.
Lacquer Bath Hamper - $99
This one is sleek and modern, and I love it. It would need to be close to the washer and dryer because it doesn't look too portable, but that's fine by me.
Curved Hamper - $99
A pretty rope basket with a lid is perfect if your hamper is out in plain sight.
Fyllen Laundry Basket, Red - $7.99
This would be a great little laundry basket for kids. I would put it in my son's room and hope he learns to pick up his dirty clothes.
Washing Machine Hamper - $29.95
This one cracks me up! Just make sure that when you tell your husband to throw the laundry in the wash, he doesn't just put it in here.
Felt Hamper - $89.95
I wouldn't have guessed that this was a hamper at first glance — which is a very good thing!
