In a Zebra Mood
Houzz Contributor. Hi There! I currently live in a 1920s cottage in Atlanta that I'll describe as "collected."
I got into design via Landscape Architecture, which I studied at the University of Virginia. I've been writing about design online for quite a few years over at Hatch: The Design Public Blog.

I started out this ideabook looking for zebra print rugs, but then wound up finding some other fun zebra pint pillows, upholstery, and wallpaper all over Houzz, so I thought "why not lump them all together?" I'm in a zebra frame of mind today.
The way to work with a zebra print is sparingly. You (probably) don't want any room in your house to wind up looking like Elvis's jungle room. All it takes is one dose. However, as you'll see from the images below, zebra works with a range of styles. I'm going to show you zebra in modern rooms, formal rooms, casual rooms, Regency rooms, eclectic rooms, traditional rooms. It's in the study, the living room, the bedroom, the kitchen and even the bathroom. Check it out!

I really really really want to use this wallpaper somewhere. It is so fabulous I can't even stand it.
This little guy always cracks me up - he's so unexpected.
You have to REALLY love zebra print to order up this tub! I really want to go to a party at this house!

| Zebra works in more subtle color palettes as well - things don't always have to be black and white. |

Oh here it is again. I simply must have it. There's something very Albert Hadley about this room.
