Houzz is the new way to design your home.
like natural look of wood. It is dark but not as conservative and polished looking as a mahogany.
Squak Mountain Stone - Hazel
We like the matte appearance of the countertops and double sinks. Made from recycled materials and available in Seattle?
A seperate room for toilet/bidet.
We like the wood style.
Window seat by entry. Lots of closet space for jackets, purses bags close to door and out of sight, place for shoes.
Nice rock wall and floor by entry.
Warmth of door compared to surrounding area makes it seem very inviting. Your eye goes immediately to the front door.
The stairs are close to the entrance. I like the look of the stair railing.
Like the multiple levels and wood/rock combinations. Having a sunken area seems very cosy.
This is a very nice entry. It has it all: Wood, rock, place to sit, closet. The stairs are very interesting with the two steps widening out into landings for a bench and artwork.
Chain downspout, wood ceiling/ covered entry.
This might be an intersting way to breakup a big blank boxy looking wall.
Cool shadow pattern created by open stairs.
Cool tub. Want shower bench. Like floor material and oss white brick look of walls.
Love the glass tile. Like having a wood panelled floor to step out of shower or tub onto.
Like the warm/cool contrast of the wood/metal. The right side of the photo shows a nice look. The left half has a bit much going on/ too busy.
Like the wood/rock combo, but looks a litle too "country cabin".
Th corner join for the windows that make it look continuous is nice. This may be an expensive detail, but would like to see it incoporated if possible.
the stone for a courtyard?
different levels and mix of dry wall and wood on ceilings. Open stairwell. What is island/counter surface?
Interesting texture on island side. Wood ceiling. Contrast of warm color to cool neutrals.
Windows up high.
Open stairway, light and airy feeling, like stripped wood. No white cabinets - too plasticy looking.
cool faucet, stove w/ hood against wall not in the middle of room, beverage cooler.
I like the square islad that provides lots of access to kitchen from boths sides. A rectangular island seems to provide less access.
Like rock wall that starts as backsplash but goes all the way up to ceiling. Being able to see from one part of the house to another in unexpencted ways.
different levels for different spaces. There seems to be lots of different textures and colors which adds a lot of visual interest, but it isn't busy or cluttered. Like the dark floor.
Another view of square island.
LOVE glass slab counter top section!!!!!
Nice to have a place to put things by the front entrance.
The fireplace is accessible to both the living and dining room. Love the ceiling.
