LOVE this ceiling.
Sink with windows looking out into back yard.
towel bar in front of sink, built-in that looks like a china hutch w/ some glass doors and some drawers. for wall between kitchen/dining room. Also, some open shelves for cookbooks, bowls, etc. And of course, the floors!!
Wow. What a beautiful and tasteful way to use an industrial-sized stainless sink.
This kitchen layout is VERY close to what I envision. Rather than a dining room, that would be access to garage, mudroom and pantry/laundry.
Great pullouts! Especially the one for cutting boards and baking sheets.
Amazing use of space under the kitchen sink.
Love this little nook to hide counter top appliances.
great use of space!!
Must have: Recycling center!
This is very similar to how I would like our pantry/ovens/fridge to be configured in our kitchen.
Range in island with a raised breakfast bar around one end (screening), and the other end left open at counter height for work space!
Same island, different view. Love the sink in background that looks out the window.
I love the combination of materials in this photo- rustic mixed with traditional elements.
Trestle table! Dining and kitchen spaces are separated by cabinetry, but they are left open to keep spaces connected. Brilliant. Make cabinets functional from both sides, double the storage.
Love the larger round table for a breakfast nook. 5 chairs- perfect.
View into great room (rustic stone fireplace), range in the island with raised bar (providing a space for vent), cupboards, mix of materials...
I love the hardware on these cabinets and the bracket that gives it a vintage vibe.
Details like this make the space feel old... in a good way.
I really love the idea of doing a stain like this in the kitchen. Rather than having a true checkerboard tile (love!) that is so hard to stand on for a long time.
Another checkerboard stain idea for the kitchen. Not sure if I like this bold one or the more subtle version better.
Beautiful, simple cabinets with enclosed high storage, gorgeous tone on the hardwood floor, just-right subway tile backsplash.
This kitchen is just a bit stark for me, but I love the breakfast area. Exactly how I want ours, lots of windows, round table, next to the kitchen, room for a door to the back patio.
Corner breakfast nook idea- benches on two sides, chairs on two sides. Space saver if there's not room for a round table with 5 chairs.
Would be smart to combine the coffee area and prep sink.
This room speaks to me from an atmosphere perspective: mix of materials- white mill work, rustic wood beam, stained wood island and floor, leaded glass, metal fixtures. Love. Specifically, I love the floors, cabinets and funky light fixtures. There's a loft-ish mood to the room.
Wow again. Especially the floors.
Gorgeous. Huge, but I love the feel of it. Also, cabinets around perimeter are not inset, but have the feel of inset.
Craftsman style millwork, opening between kitchen and dining room.
