Love the stained doors, plantings adjacent to the house, fountain and brick
Pool probably not in the cards for us, but this is a really pretty area.
I like the narrow arbor - I love having a place for a big vine to grow, but we have a large arbor over our patio now, and the vine drops a lot of leaves, etc. on the patio. Better to have a smaller arbor somewhere out of the way, so the mess does not matter so much.
Big trees in landscape
Very narrow arbor - good idea, because you would never actually sit in this space - it is purely for looks. So it does not matter if leaves, flowers, etc. are dropping from the vine.
I really like these short boxwood hedges. How hard are these to maintain?
Area between driveway and front of house? Too much?
Hedges and walls
I like the arbor acting as an entryway
Do not want a pool, but like the plantings.
Accent wall for back of patio
Accent wall with open brick work, gas lights and fountain
This is stamped concrete
Note how the garden to natural area is defined with a simple arch and bench.
This has the feeling of having walls, but is just columns with plants. Still love the boxwood.
Idea for casual outdoor area?
Idea for hardscape around fountain and a place to sit
love the stone (of course it is antique)
Raised area for seating?
Texas stone in a courtyard - otherwise not right at all
Raised seating area in courtyard
Great look for our fireplace area
Maybe some of your color can come at garage doors if it is subtle?
Low wall done in dryvit (stucco)
Similar layout to our patio
What a courtyard should feel like
Good feel for courtyard
Raised bed in front of wall
The look, the fountain
Painted brick, wood ceiling, painted doors
Instead of a big fountain, but add some water jets shooting up?
This would be great if you added a crown of water jets around the edge and a bigger one in the middle.
