Houzz is the new way to design your home.
I love the glass penny tiles. The little round gems float in the white grout.
What came first? The art on the wall or the colors of the furniture and accessories? I love the idea of taking colors from a loved piece of art to connect within the room.
I love the small glass side table, to the right of the coffee table.
Patina Style by Brooke and Steve Giannetti - $35
The gray/yellow gold color scheme is great.
I love the fish tank in the wall; though I would bring it down by maybe 6". I also like the tree sculpture to the left of the fish tank. That tree would lend itself nicely to an embroidered piece.
Great looking kitchen. I love subway tile.

The floor is incredible. I think I would choose oak and stay away from pine only because its sap.
Kalika Paisley Print Fabric, Citron
I love the pattern. It doesn't come across as a heavy paisley. In fact, I didn't see the paisley until I read the description. Citron is pretty.
Asymmetry, color, whimsy
Color, tells a story

Mirror extends from the vanity over the toilet. Let's two people get ready at once.
Extend the vanity space by arranging for the counter to go from the sink across the toilet.
I love the "real" quality to this island. It could be our house.
