just like the idea of the monitor cubbie with the double lighting
like the cubbies, and could put artwork or cool b&w photo in place of the window

this makes me wonder whether we could build in a side desktop that's hinged and can just be pulled up with one leg to hold it at the times that we need the extra table space to one side

one idea is to keep a simple desk look like this and then build near it with side cabinets, etc.
