| Here's another beautiful pavillion designed for fall and winter living. Note the stone fireplace and gorgeous overhead lantern for softly lit evenings. This space has the added bonus of a lakeside view. |

| If you think it's too late to add on that screened-in porch you've been wanting, think again! Fireplaces work great for screened in areas, too. |
| How would you like to fall asleep to the crackling sounds of a hot fire and awaken to the chirping of birds on a cool, fall morning? Have you noticed how very different all these outdoor fireplaces have been? Love the rustic mantle chosen for the fireplace on this sleeping porch. |

| If you don't have a porch or pavillion, take heart...you can still enjoy fall evenings outside in front of a hot fire. Free standing, outdoor fireplaces when designed out of durable stone will hold up to even the harshest of climates. |
| This outdoor space has it all for those fall and winter gatherings outside. There's a cozy warm fireplace, overhead heaters, tv for catching the fall football games, and a fabulous outdoor kitchen/grilling area. |
| I love the warmth of the Ipe wood flooring, not to mention that killer view! ~~~Big Sigh~~~
What were your favorite features in these great outdoor spaces? See any that would be on your "must have" list for fall and winter gatherings? |
Thanks
LaCausey, I worried about the same thing when I added my porch, but I didn't see that big a change in the light into my home. It did drastically reduce my cooling bill though since the porch is on the south side of my home. Love that added benefit. I think skylights would be wonderful.
Thanks everyone for your delightful comments...love reading them!
