Deck & Pool
I like the clean look of this concrete (or rock) and the way it comes right up to the edge of the pool with no separate tiles around the pool. The lack of tiles in the pool just below the concrete lip is also clean and attractive I think.
Another example of the concrete of stone blocks coming right to the water without tiles around the edge of the pool.
More concrete forming the edge of the pool.
I like the way the deck starts a ways back from the pool (concrete laid above it) so you can walk on the concrete and not on the deck if you want to.
these thicker pool pavement tiles seem OK if that is easier than using concrete right to the edge.
Another rounded concrete tile that blends with the other concrete.
I like the wood deck nicely flush with the concrete.
Simple deck railing like this would be preferable to something ornate. We'd rather emphasize the view than the railing itself.
cable railing with Azek deck and railing. Also, different color trim boards.
Lots of benches and railing with cable.
clean lines and colors
dark color of pool is pretty contrast with light concrete.
smooth modern look to concrete. How do they get that?
like the modern look.
love the texture and modern look of this. can we get this effect? These don't look poured.
concrete deck transition
pretty stone blocks around pool. Affamia stone from syria.
nice patio around pool
beautiful. Honed limestone. I like this and light travertine (coliseum).
Nice job. Looks like stamped concrete?
Another picture of same pool. Really well done. Makes me think we should use the same tile around the raised spa as we use below the coping of the pool. I like ht width/shape of the coping.
mosaic tiles are kinda cool
stamped concrete. i like it, not sure I love it.
Nice pool and paving. Clean.
I like these 24x24 limestone pavers. If we varied the alignment, I think this might be nice.
The bull nose here going down 3 inches or so makes it look OK with no water line tile because the water comes all the way up to the coping.
looks like more limestone pavers
We could surround the 24x24 tiles with a darker color like this to mix it up. Probably more expensive.
blue stone. pretty.
travertine marble pavers. about the same cost as limestone.
Nice concrete. Acid washed. Not stamped. Lines are cut. Not sure I like it as well as stone.
limestone up against deck. Looks nice!
full range bluestone
less full range
Full range, rustic
Says hot to walk on - probably OK. Full range.
bluestone - not full range
Yikes - that's some serious full range bluestone
