I live in a loft in Brooklyn, a recent transplant to Greenpoint (love my neighborhood!). I work as a freelance writer, blogger, stylist, gilder, and crafter. Turquoise is the one accent color that I consistently crush on. I like its soft, watery shades as much as the bright and bold ones. It's a color you often find in cottage style and shabby-chic spaces, but turquoise is also at home in any modern or global-inspired room. Sometimes the color feels vintage while other times it looks plucked from somewhere in the Far East. Here are a few favorite displays of the color turquoise.
