While many describe their dream kitchen as being "bright and sunny," there are a host of other people who prefer dark finishes in their kitchens. Bright and sunny spaces are welcoming, light and airy. However, darker kitchens offer the unexpected. They are bold spaces that often have a regal elegance and provide a sense of coziness. Some of the finest kitchens combine light and dark elements, which gives homeowners the best of both worlds.
