I'm sure most of us can agree that our bathroom storage is never enough. Enter the vanity tower. Because it sits above your existing vanity or bathroom counter, it's a great way to add storage without increasing the size of the vanity or taking up precious floor space.

Ideally, you'd install a vanity tower during a remodel (or new construction) so it could be perfectly integrated with your vanity and overall bathroom layout — but it can be added to your bathroom even years later.

To add one to an existing bathroom, order it from the company who made your original vanity, or have one built to match.

Your tower can be configured to your liking. A glass door lightens the tower and gives you the option of adding interior lighting.

If you can recess your tower partially into the wall, you can gain extra storage without sacrificing countertop space.

These storage armoires are a great addition to a bathroom with a modern style vanity that contains little storage. The two armoires take up floor space but add a massive amount of storage for the footprint.

I've always disliked the standard wall mounted medicine cabinet. This is a wonderful alternative and allows for more versatility in lighting and mirrors.

We just remodeled our master bath and included one of these towers...we love it. We even put the electrical outlet inside and one on each side on the outside! Best thing I ever did!

In our very tiny master bath we did two towers - the added storage is fabulous! Like Bend2011, we added an outlet inside one of the towers for hubby's electric razor and for a small radio we keep inside the cabinet. We also attached a Restoration Hardware magnifying extension mirror to the side of one of the towers - something we really appreciate as we get older!

I have a tower between the two master sinks. It frustrates me to no end because you can't put anything on the counter because you need the space to open the doors. When the doors are open, it blocks the light and you can't see stuff in the cabinet. I may be OK with two towers on either side of the sink, but I really don't enjoy the middle tower. One of your pictures shows a decorative piece in front of the tower. Of course, this could not work because you couldn't open the doors. I guess the good thing is since I have absolutely no counter space, I HAVE to put away my stuff.

Has anyone seen a center upper cabinet on a dual sink counter, where the doors open on the side, instead of the front the same way the lower cabinets open? That would allow the decorative items on the front, and if hinged at the back of the counter, not block lighting? I'd appreciate any photos you can share.
