When a budding attorney decided to plant her roots in the upscale Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., she called upon Zoe Feldman of Zoe Feldman Design to assist her in renovating the newly purchased rowhouse. The goal was to infuse the traditional space with urban appeal and honor the exclusive neighborhood without feeling pretentious. The result is best described as classic, neo-traditional with a modern twist. Mission accomplished.

| Though modest in size, this living room has generous seating options. The velvet sofa and wingchair, both by Mitchell Gold Bob Williams, are contemporary and stylish. The homeowner's existing ottoman was modernized with an ultra-glam fabric by David Hicks. In the bay window, a custom radiator cover topped with an upholstered cushion provides a window seat for taking in beautiful views of the city. Panels in a linen-silk blend fabric by Nancy Corzine frame the ensemble. |
