It's November, and new calendars from some of my favorite artists and graphic designers are rolling off the presses. I don't know about you, but I can never limit myself to just one. I "need" one for the kitchen, beside my desk, in the entryway — pretty soon I end up with a stack of extra calendars without a home! That's okay though, because beautiful art calendars make perfect last-minute gifts, so I always keep a few stashed away for gift exchanges and stuffing stockings. Here are 20 of my favorites. Enjoy! — Laura from Lolalina
This limited edition calendar from artist Anke Weckmann features prints of her original illustrations on matte paper. I love her whimsical, colorful style.
I have been a fan of INK+WIT founder Tara Hogan for a number of years now, and the new 2012 letterpress calendar is definitely going on my wishlist! Called "Into the Calm," it features gorgeous soft shades of gray punched up with mustard-y yellow. The bonus is that you can trim it and frame each page as an art print when the year is done.
If fashion and textile illustrations catch your fancy, you will love this calendar from Melbourne-based illustrator Catherine Campbell. The postcard-size pages are perfect for sprucing up a small office space.
I love the wood-grain numbers and stylized birds on this giant poster-size calendar from Enna in Germany. I think this would work really well as a family calendar because you can see the entire year in advance.
Matt Adrian is the artist behind the popular shop The Mincing Mockingbird, and his new calendar for 2012 is filled with beautifully reproduced prints of his original bird paintings. The colors he uses are just fantastic.
Are imaginative illustrations your cup of tea? Well then, I have just the thing! The new calendar from Croatian artist Irena Sophia is packed with luscious, dreamy images to inspire.
Artist Leah Duncan from Austin, Texas has created a stunning limited edition calendar for 2012 featuring her geometric and nature-inspired artwork. This one would make a lovely gift.

Nikki McClure's artwork has been a favorite in my house since my son was born and we received one of her children's books as a gift. We all love her style, which is reminiscent of Japanese wood-block prints, and the single word messages on her calendars are rich with meaning.
Midwestern artist Amy Marcella's 2012 calendar features a graphic, botanically inspired print on each slender page. Each print can be trimmed and framed when the month is over, so you could have quite a collection of new art by year's end!
Craving some fun with your calendar pick this year? Try this crested shield version from The Paper Thieves. You could even use this as a quirky statement piece above your fireplace.
Oh my, I am totally smitten with this "Flowers & Feathers" calendar from The Wild Unknown. Breathtaking hand-drawn botanicals and feathers blend with snippets of song lyrics from greats like Joni Mitchell and Cat Stevens.
Colorful and fun with folksy illustrations, this mini calendar from deka-Animals is sure to become a favorite — whether you tuck it into a stocking or keep it for yourself.
I love the modern graphics on the Cute Animal Calendar from Loopz. Sure, it's great for a child's room, but it's fresh and cheerful in a grownup's office as well.
No other city inspires quite as much dreaming as Paris, and photographer/blogger Nichole of Little Brown Pen captures the beauty and mystery perfectly in her 2012 Paris Calendar. I know I want one!
This poster-size calendar from Two Dot Two would be beautiful in a bedroom or other private space. I love how even the names of the months are hand-drawn.
Spanish artist Blanca Gómez creates the most delightful characters and scenes in a colorful, graphic style. Her new calendar would put a smile on my face each and every day.
Looking for something crisp, clean and modern? Look no further than this single-page calendar from Miles of Light. It features one feather illustration at the top and simple sans serif fonts, all in black and white.
Le Papier Studio's silhouette calendar is back for 2012! It features fresh, modern silhouettes all on a single, elegant wall hanging.
Graphic design studio Bold and Noble comes up with the most original, striking designs. Their screen-printed wall calendar features geometric designs in mustard and gray, making it perfectly pleasing to both guys and gals.
