I like the visual composition - blocks of form and negative space insertions. A kitchen that does not look like a "kitchen."
I like the 'floating' white cabinetry with the glass tile behind and the solid grey wall of cabinetry to the side
I like the way the grey cabinet to the right wraps the wood finished cabinet and the way the far wall of cabinetry is returned over the top and down the side.
I like the way the island seating offsets and wraps around. Also, keeping the finishing on the ceiling return on the far wall the same as the cabinetry is a nice detail, complete with lighting.
I like the intersection of the cabinetry and the window on the far wall, and the 'floating' wall division between the family room and the kitchen.
The materials - glass subway style tile, dark striated wood, white counters.
The view through and unusual mix of materials and finishes.
Material choices, colours, table in the middle instead of an island.
Dining nook and the combination of materials/colour palette
