These are lovely!!! I have to say though 1500 sq feet is not small in my opinion. The average place in our city is 500-900 sq feet. Teeny tiny!!

I went from a 4 bedroom apartment with lots of storage to a 3 room 600 sq ft apartment . Talk about culture-shock! I am finding that I need to be really organized. Keep all things where they will be used, buy less, and ruthlessly give away all but a few items such as clothes, books, and such.

We have been working on a 2000 sq ft house that was build in 1958...for almost 17 years ...and we are just about to complete .....Its been a great part of our life and our relationship....we have re-worked every wire ....plumbing...absolutely every inch...our primary contractor is apart of our family....even a good part of the crew as well...and yes we have broken every rule that any realtor has shared with us....can not wait to send you guys some photo's....and as we have come to build many project over the years ...outside of our home.... we have come to the conclusion that we plan to do several other homes in this community neighborhood...our Moto....is we want to build and re-build livable footage...not expand outside of the foundation our little town ...but rebuild within...having raised two children in our home and two dogs...several cats we cannot image having anymore footage than we have...and what we have been able to with it...well is frankly more than we deserve.....Photo,s coming in Jan....

All in all, very good use of small space, but I'd be careful with area rugs. As nice as it is to put your tootsies on a warm rug instead of bare floor, area rugs can make a space look smaller. Better to have a large area rug under the bed that almost looks like wall-to-wall. Glad to see the use of strong color to play up the safe "cave" vibe, as well as the more obvious white, beige and gray.

Thanx, I like the idea of being able to faux centre the window with clever placement of curtains running the entire wall.I can then centre my bed and make an intersting headboard rather than a shade................oh, I'm on a mission!
