DESIGN YOUR HOME
Dungan Nequette Architects
This is a house made from an old barn frame that came from Pennsylvania. It also has a new stone foundation we added and a copper roof. The monitor was also a new feature.
The interior of the house we left very open by stacking the bedrooms all to one side. There is a rope swing that has at least a 20 foot diameter and we re-used the old barn siding on the inside to give the warm feel of an old barn to the home.
The interesting thing about this house is that its an addition and renovation project, but appears to have been there for 100 years. We used stone and washed stucco over the entire exterior to create the old look.
This is a very formal home in a fairly strict Tudor style exterior. This house is an addition renovation project but very hard to tell what is old and what is new.
This house is located in Auburn, Alabama in the White Oaks area.
