Indoor Stars Light Winter Nights

Count me in among those who love Moravian stars. I thought there couldn't be any more pictures/ideas for them than what I've already bookmarked, but the ones over the island - perfect. Every time I look at an ideabook that includes islands or the problem of lighting an island, I find lights that make me say, 'Yeah, I can see how those would work...' but nothing that makes me say, 'That's IT!' The Moravian stars over the island made me say, 'Found my lights!' Ditto the light over the front door - nothing else will make the statement my front entrance needs. The night-sky ceiling is something I've wanted since I saw a ceiling painted blue with gold stars in a chamber in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt (and astonishingly, the same blue in the summer evening sky over Tuscany). I've never forgotten it. Now I've got a lead on how to make it a reality with light, rather than paint. Do you have any more information on installing a 'ceiling with fiber optics'?

I, too, am "star struck." There are stars incorporated in "every" room of my house (cabin) as well as a huge barn star as a focal (five sided) point. :-D Nothing is prettier than a clear star studded night. franki

Love Moravian stars. We have two inside the house, one is a nightlight, and the other is perched on my hutch. Also have one hanging on my front porch, at Christmas time.
