Mudroom: I like the bench that extends further from the wall which seems like a good idea for tall people; also like crown molding, which extends to entire mudroom for continuity.
Kitchen: I like these two counter colors, butcher block for island and black for the rest of the counters.
Master Bath: I like this wood floor for the shower, although I am also interested in a tile that mimics small stones/gravel.
Dining Area: Built-in bench with facing table and chairs. Like the pull-out drawers.
Transition: potential lower budget framing between mudroom and office, dining area and kitchen, dining area and hallway, kitchen and living room, living room and entry.
Kitchen: If we didn't go all white for the kitchen cabinets, this would be a great color for the cupboards (with white or some lighter color below).
Master Bathroom: Not sure I love this tiling for shower, but I love the idea of working in something that mimics the blues and greens of sea glass.
Kitchen: Column provides a nice visual transition between kitchen and living room, with a built-in bookcase inside the living room for the television
Master Bathroom: I like this tub, although it still looks to small for me.
Dining Area: I like the look of the geometry to the bench.
Transitions: Since we will be taking down some walls, could we replace them with exposed beams?
Mudroom: with center space for utility sink rather than window.
Master Bathroom: Like this tub, but worried it might be too small.
Deck: I would love to have the first ten feet outside the door of the screened in porch have a trellis above (unless this is cost prohibitive).
Front Porch: First, I like the idea of no railing. Second, I like the shape of these columns. Third, I am torn between stone or wood to cover the existing cement.
Master Bathroom: Tub, is it big enough?
Mudroom: I like the idea of the shelving below the bench so you can get two rows of shoes, also like the two rows of baskets above for storage.
Master Bathroom: I like this adjustable shower head.
Front door: I like the glass around the door.
Front Porch: I like the blue wood for the porch ceiling.
Front Porch: I love the color of the shutters
Master Bathroom: I like this vanity, but particularly like the facing medicine cabinets.
Master Bathroom: I really like this shower floor. Will also be doing glass around the shower, but I want frosted glass.
Kitchen/Dining Room: I like these windows. Like the overall feel, warmth of this kitchen.
Master Bathroom: Wood platform for tub, not sure it is worth the cost?
Living room, office, master bedroom: I like this idea for ceiling with pale wood.
Kitchen, dining area: these windows are awesome -- bring in a lot of light, but also have a lot of character. I also like the idea of bead board ceiling.
Office: This is possibly a bit too simplistic because I would like more storage, but I like the chalkboard paint to continue the theme from the mudroom; also like the white or slightly off-white paint and the desktop being the same pale wood as the bench in the mudroom.
Doors: I want to replace all of the interior doors with solid wood. These have a nice color. Ideally we would match wood/color of mudroom benches, office desk top, island butcher block, and doors. I like the simplicity of these doors.
Kitchen: Open shelves with glass containers.
Office: I like the more built-up structure of this office desk with storage going to the ceiling and crown molding; probably should try to match hardware to what is going into the kitchen. Definitely want space for charging phones, iPads, computers.
Powder Room: I like this minimalist look.
Master Bathroom: Should we create a barrier to keep water from escaping the shower, or just continue the tile into the remainder of the room?
Living Room: Built-in bookcases with a bench.
Living Room: Could we build in a bench next to the stairs?
Transitions: Pocket doors between mudroom and office.
Transitions: Love the glass window divider, would be an excellent higher cost option between dining area and kitchen -- and potentially other places as well. I love the look of this kitchen in general, but other photos in this ideabook provide more clarity.
Master Bathroom: Not sure I like the color of the vanity, but I like the look (although the hardware is too large)
Transitions: I like this idea, but not sure it will work with the space we have.
Front Porch: I like the columns, lack of railing, steps.
Master Bathroom: I want these behind doors, but stackable W/D, hopefully with space supplies.
Exterior: Love this for a couple side walls outside.
Roof: Love this color, do we want white siding?
Kitchen: Love the windows, but not sure they open; this is a great looking island, although I would want butcher block top; I also like the fan
Kitchen: Another great looking island with a butcher block top, also like the bead board ceiling.
Kitchen: Really love this pot rack and lighting combination.
Front porch: If we don't use stone, this is the look I would like to create with wood on the porch.
Mudroom: Love the idea for chalkboard paint on back wall
Kitchen: I like this combination of dry wall and tin for the ceiling, with some built in lighting.
Master Bath: Don't need shower to be this big, but this gives a sense of the desirable relationship between the shower and tub.
Kitchen: I would love to create enough space for plants along the north facing kitchen windows.
