The flowers have faded away and the last of the leaves are falling from the trees. Now, dark shades of green will emerge outdoors and become the leading colors of winter. Although evergreens are present all year long, their crisp rich hues become much more prominent during the winter months when colorful flowers and garden greens have disappeared.
