As many of my readers know, I just gave birth to my third child, my little boy Matthew. Bringing him home was one of those memorable moments that will not fade from my memory. For that reason, I've decided to dedicate these 20 picks to the beauty of bringing a baby home.
Almost immediately after we find out we're pregnant, we start imagining the nursery. I hope this can come handy if you're in this situation, or if you simply want to make your baby's room feel a bit more special. Remember, when it comes to decorating a nursery, the first thing you need to add is your love, and the last thing you want there is stress. Make sure everything is in a calm and relaxing color palette. — Luciane from Home Bunch

This little mouse should be in every nursery. It definitely brings a smile to my face!
A nursery needs some cute decor on the walls. I think these are really sweet and very neutral.
I adore this crib. It's a beautiful piece of furniture, and I also like how soft it is inside. Kids bump their heads more often than we imagine.
Softness is always a must when it comes to anything that touches your baby's skin. Don't compromise on that.
A quilt brings some enchantment to any kid's room. This one is very delicate and can be for boys or girls.
I could add a chaise to almost any room of my house. I would love to see this one in a nursery because of its comfort and beauty.
In case you prefer a chair instead of a chaise, I'd recommend a rocker. There's something really special about rocking your babies and reading stories to them.
A baby's room isn't a baby's room without cuddly, soft toys. The cuter, the better!
I highly recommend a bassinet. My baby will be sleeping beside me for the first few weeks, and a bassinet makes late-night feedings easier. You can also bring it with you to any place in your house.
I adore this idea of a family tree in the nursery. Bring in the family love from the beginning.
I love to add some uniqueness to any space I design. This oversized canvas tapestry provides just that, and can be used on the wall or on the floor.
I really want this mobile in my baby's nursery. It's so adorable!
Nurseries are usually on the small side, and if that's the case, think vertical! Use nice shelving to store anything from toys to books.
A rug is a necessity in any kids' room because they play on the floor more often than anywhere else. Make it feel warm, cozy and comfortable for them with a nice rug like this one.
This wardrobe is simply perfect when you have a small closet or children sharing a bedroom.
This will be your child's favorite place to read his or her books.
These are classic toys for a classic look!
Nobody can have enough storage space — especially children with all of their toys. This bench is very versatile with extra room underneath.
Memory boards are so fun. Why not have one in the nursery? Snap some fun pictures, and voila!
This is not really a toy; it's meant to be used more as decor, but the bird sings, and I can just imagine little eyes looking at it with wonder. It would be great to entertain the baby when nothing else makes him or her stop crying. After all, we moms need to be as creative as we can!

When my son was a toddler I repainted the bedroom walls bright blue and green and accessorized with a blue Kura bed from IKEA, rainbow striped curtains, a solid red rug, and primary colored sling bookshelves. Once I decorated his room that way I've been able to have first a sea creature theme and then a space theme without spending very much money. All I did was change the wall decor and the room looks completely different.
