the dark color is a little surprising for the living room, but has a nice contrast in the brighter molding. I like the little architectural details. it's a different take on "traditional" that encapsulates simplicity.
I like this room and yet, I'm not totally sold. There's a bit too much brown in the room for my taste, but it works. I love the wall color and the simplicity of the window treatment. It has a nice eclectic feel without feeling overly "designed."
I like the light and openness of this room. There is a definite pop of color in the art, but its size makes it a focal point, and isn't overwhelming. The symmetry keeps everything grounded.
I also shared this on Pinterest! First of all I love the color of the velvet chairs, as well as the chairs themselves. The windows are great architecturally; they really let in a lot of light. The whole feeling of the room is very relaxed - I love it.
A different angle of the first room I shared. again, that dark color doesn't make the room feel small like you might suppose. It has enough light with the windows and those great architectural details.
I love the ceiling in this room, and that light fixture. I like the space itself, as well, but I'm not sold on those colors. It's a little drab. I would really have to be in the room to fully appreciate it.
This is also another angle of another room I already shared, but there's a good reason for it. A living space should really be a space that you like to use - you have to live in it! The layout of this room and everything in it, work well together. It is visually appealing as well as comfortable.
This room has a great look. It's very well tailored and edited. It looks like somebody lives here, and uses and loves this space. I love the shelves I love the fireplace I love the seating; everything just works well together.
The simplicity of form and function. this room is definitely more sleek and pared-down, than I would normally go for, but I like it because it looks comfortable and usable. The long sofa and low table are great for entertaining, but it also looks comfortable enough for you to relax by yourself. The light is probably great in this room all day long because of the white walls and the large windows. The red accents keep the room anchored.
This looks very European to me somehow. those bookshelves are great they look like built-ins. I love all the colors and the patterns; the brass accents here and there are nice, too. It would be a nice place to read or have drinks and chat!
very upscale, but beautiful. the hand painted Tree is great on the fireplace wall. I also love that contemporary coffee table.
I don't like those tables or that rug, but I really like this space and the way the colors work together. It looks inviting.
I like to subued nature of the colors in this room, and the light that's diffused throughout the space. The stairs are great, too. I wish I could see more of this room.
A very relaxing room.
the open floor plan here is really great. a lot of the time I would argue against open floor plans because I just like "rooms" with walls, (and I haven't seen too many open areas I actually like) but I think this is done really well.
this is a beautiful room. I have to admit that I like traditional style and this room is executed brilliantly. the very subtle tones of white and grey and the wooden chevron floor are just awesome.
