This table lamp is the main light in the space. It's made of thin strips of bamboo (and from IKEA). It also has a pendant version, but unfortunately, that has a very kitcheny vibe, and we're looking for something a little more "living room."
This is my kitchen - the lounge area is off to the right of this photo. Just to give you some perspective.
I like the idea of finding an older chandelier and just painting it one color - maybe white, maybe something else.
I like the way this lamp seems to glow from within.
This chandelier reminds me of a darker, more solid version of the one above, and I like it for the same reasons.
These two IKEA pendants are too big (and a little too casual) for our space, but I like them nonetheless.
I don't really want to mess around with candles (even ones that aren't real), but I do like this fixture's spiral construction and the warm quality of light it puts off.
We have a moose rack in our living room, so a friend suggested a small antler chandelier in the lounge. I like the idea, but am concerned about going overboard with the antler thing.
This one hangs too low, but I think it's cool - I like the shape and the way it would distribute light.
I find myself drawn to this style over and over - there's something about the way the light bursts that works for me.
