picabelle I worked so hard to find gray wood to do my floors when we did our remodel, but the stain just didn't work and the beautiful reclaimed floors I found were simply out of my budget. Now that the house is done I'm glad it didn't work out; I think I would have gotten tired of them after a while.

Yolanda Gray is so popular and beautiful. One inexpensive workaround I tried is working with stain-grade wood. We achieved this countertop with Birch wood for countertop. We just bought a couple of gray stains and played with mixing different proportions till we got our formula right.
