I have worked with Collaborative Design, and particular Ann Francois, for the past 15 years. I used them when building my home and I still use them to this day as I continue to redecorate our home. Collaborative Design and Ann are great to work with. They're flexible with your needs and bring great ideas to the table. I am always 100% pleased with the outcome of the design. I never venture in decorating without them. I receive many compliments about the beauty of our home from guests. Highly recommend!

We have worked with Anne Francois on several project over the years from decorating a new home we were building, to expanding our outdoor living area, and most recently finishing the basement of a vacation cottage. Besides being excellent at decorating, Anne has a keen eye for design. We have learned to include Anne from the very beginning of any project. She is able to take architectural drawings and suggest changes in flow, room sizes, cabinetry, baseboard/trim size and color, etc. while adding some architectural details that take the project to the next level. She gently pushes us outside our comfort zone at times which we appreciate. Anne and the whole Team at Collaborative Design are great to work with and we wouldn't do a project without seeking their professional guidance.

Anne helped us redecorate the lower level of our condo. We have used interior designers i the past who didn't listen to our expressed styles or colors, so the results didn't feel like "us." Conversely, Anne not only listened and created colors that fit us, but had the vision to design a space that suited our living style. Every one of her suggestions was "spot on." We changed carpet, cabinetry, wall color, and all the furniture and accessories. It is perfect!

Guests who visited our home, returned home and talked about how great our home was. another guest said she hadn't been to a model home that was as beautiful as our home was. Anne has that extra special touch, greater than beautiful, greater than utilitarian.

I received professional guidance and consultation for remodeling a master bedroom and master bathroom. The services I received were extremely beneficial and a definite step above the ordinary service. I would highly recommend Anne Francois.

Anne consulted with us throughout our home building project, from early construction to final details. She made herself available for consultation, offered suggestions and options, leaving the decisions up to us.

I had received a 4 hour consultation winning from an auction. Not really knowing the company, I called an was assigned to Anne. Turns out, several of my friends had used her and were very pleased. Anne came to my home, listened to my ideas, and offered her ideas. She was positive, thoughtful and encouraged me beyond my comfort level and vision. My home was dated in the 80's with lots of oak! Ended up removing tile,and carpeting on the entire first floor replacing it with a warm rustic Hickory floor. Friends and family loved it. Kitchen oak cabinets were painted a creamy white and accented with a copper glaze. Entry stairwell received a beautiful black and carmel wool diamond pattern runner.In the family room, built in oak cabinets were removed and a new mantel created, all which opened up the feeling and space in the area. All the referring companies,(flooring, painter and rug installers) were top notch, highly skilled and knew their crafts very well.

I have worked with Anne on different projects in my home since the early 2000's ( a partial kitchen and bathroom re-do and a living and sunroom) and this year we worked on updating the whole house for us to enjoy before selling in 5-10 years. This entailed replacing wallpaper in a few key rooms, Venetian Plaster in my foyer and master bath, replacing outdated light fixtures and faucets, glazing all my decorative plaster, and new cabinets, countertops and mirrors for 3 bathrooms. Our family room was not on our radar, we really never use it because the large high definition tv's are in other rooms. There was no place to put one. Anne, standing in my kitchen, looked at my white marble fireplace in the family room and said if I did only one thing it would be to get a large tv installed on the fireplace and put that room back in play for us. I was wary because it would involve a mason, carpenter, electrician and an entertainment specialist to work together. The project went smoothly and it has totally changed how we use the area. And it looks beautiful. We were always confident that any recommendation Anne gave would work and be pleasing. She cared if items had sentimental value to us and incorporated them throughout. I highly recommend Anne. A pleasure to work with.

After hiring Anne Francois about 2 years ago when I wanted to redecorate my living room, dining room and foyer and loving the results, I again turned to Anne and Collaborative Design to update and redecorate the family room, kitchen and guest bathroom in my 1960's era ranch home. Again I was thrilled with the results! Anne is wonderful to work with and she listens to what the client wants and tries to make that happen all while considering the client's budget. In my case, I didn't always know what I wanted. Anne was very happy to give her expert recommendations or ideas of what she thought I might like. When I would bring in fabric samples or furniture styles from outside vendors, she would give her honest opinion of the color, style and quality, but she always respected the decision I made. I highly recommend Anne! She was instrumental in making my house a comfortable and beautiful home that I love and am very proud to show off!

Anne helped us during the construction of our new home and she was superb. She helped us with the home design, material selection, and after construction with blinds, furniture, rugs, accessories. Her advice was invaluable and very practical. She takes the time to find us items that fit our style and budget. She has an exceptional eye for design and is very professional and honest. If I build a home again, Anne will be my first stop and I would wholeheartedly recommend her for any home projects, small or large.
