Anne takes the time to get to know your style and will also gently push you to try something a little out of your box, but really works for you house. She does a great job of working with the budget have and will not having you spending more than you are comfortable spending. Anne is an amazingly talented designer. She is intuitive and really understands her clients, their tastes, and their design issues. She is able to think out of the box and comes up with creative and beautiful solutions. Anne helped select kitchen cabinets, counter tops, interior and exterior paint colors, and doors. She solved a major dilemma regarding overbearing dark beams and found ways to brighten the house. She is also energetic and fun.

Anne brings a great combination of both design savvy and down-to-earth sensibilities with her design and color work. Many years ago I started noticing Anne's work around town before I even had the pleasure of meeting her. She is one of the few skilled colonists I have on my short list of professional referrals for my own clients.

Working with Anne helped me sleep better. I know what I like, but don't have the experience to have confidence in my choices. Anne was able to help us through every step of building our home from helping to design key features to choosing colors and finishes. Her sense of color is amazing. I remember one subtle paint color in particular. When it went up, it calmed the entire room. She also shared contacts for subcontractors who were a pleasure to work with. My husband and I worked with Anne on redecorating our new home. Since we were relocating from Chicago and had a short window before moving Anne made the process (even from out of state) as simple as possible. Anne was amazing in all aspects of the design process from her paint color choices, furniture ideas, to her great connections with amazing subcontractors Anne never failed to impress. If anything went wrong Anne was quickly on the phone to resolve the situation. Above all, Anne is a pleasure to work with and a joy to have in our home. We will most definitely use Anne for future projects.

Anne’s contact information hung on the tack board for months. I hemmed and hawed, utterly indecisive on interior paint colors for my condo, yet not wanting someone else to “dictate” the outcome. Now I kick myself for waiting to consult with Anne; the results are fabulous! Using colors she helped me to select, Anne’s guidance served to narrow and confirm options that would work with the décor, lighting, etc. She has a remarkable ability to visualize and mix colors to complement a space. Anne also provided ideas for shelving and cabinets, with her good eye for composition and materials. I implemented the shelving suggestion and that, too, is a success. Upon installation of the shelving, Anne continued with final recommendations for accent colors to highlight the custom design. IMO, Anne is a real pro. She works quickly and with a professional and personable demeanor. If you are sitting on the fence, do so no longer! I had fun and my place now feels like home.
