Marz Tile

This is the second bathroom Bill Marz has done for me. He did a great job. He gave me a fair quote, showed up when he said he would, and left the job site cleaned up at the end of each day. He also did some grout repair in another bathroom he installed for me over 10 years ago. I had a roof leak that caused the grout at the soffit to separate. After he repaired it, it looks brand new again! My father had a kitchen and bath remodeling business before he retired and my father used Bill for all his jobs. He was always happy with his work.

It was so nice working with Bill on my bathroom renovation. Bill was professional, reliable, and did a wonderful job with the renovation. Bill is also meticulous with his work which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend him for any job.

Bill recently completed a job installing river stones around a gas fireplace opening and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He finished it in two days and his work was meticulous. He carefully protects everything in the house as he works and leaves your home spotless. He is very patient and a true perfectionist. The completed fireplace is exactly what we were looking for.

We have used Marz Tile. On 3 separate projects in our house. Most recently did an outstanding job leveling the floors and installing the tile in our den and dining room. The skill he has has is un matched. I recommend Marz tile wholeheartedly.

I am construction manager and used Bill to renovate two bathrooms at the same home for one of my best customers. Here is why I like him and why my customer likes him: Reliable-he shows up on time. Accountable- words and actions congruent Craftsmanship- high quality. He goes above and beyond. Rock solid. He is the only contractor I have ever seen countersink screw locations in wonder board. He dug out rot and replaced a wooden plate without damaging the other side of the wall and it was an ugly rotten wall section. Cleanliness- he creates a path will clean drop cloths. At the end of every day the job is left immaculate. Organization- his trailer is completely equipped and he can find anything in seconds. Personality-user friendly. He works with his son who is a chip off the old block so to speak. And the two of them get along incredibly well. Courteous and respectful all the way around. Guarantee and punch list items-100% reliable.

Fake reviews! He can’t possibly have all these reviews for work done between sept 2019 to Jan 10, 2020 as he was DESTROYING my home! He claims to do remodeling. I have been left with over $10k in damage to my home. Beware, he is clueless and a crook. He will claim after the fact he has never done this work before. If so then why does he advertise that he does and not say so when you contract with him? Only after he destroys your home and leaves you high and dry will you find out. He will try to double bill you saying it was additional work for the same exact thing he already billed you for and you paid for in full. He pretends to be a nice guy then tries to play you. He pushes his unlicensed or substandard friends/vendors on you to do electrical, painting, stonework, glass installation etc. even after you tell him you have your own vendors. They all get together to charge you more than top rated real companies to make a buck. Why are there no google reviews available on this guy? His daughter holds some of his licenses in her name so he can go against the laws, that’s what he told me. He won’t be licensed for long. DONT DO IT!!!!

Excellent job, I give Bill/Marz Tile my highest rating and recommendation. Bill is the consummate professional. Bill did bathroom tile work and installed the shower doors and accessories in the shower. Throughout the entire project Bill was punctual from the first meeting (quote) to the end. Several times before the project I needed to contact Bill for advice, and he was quick to get back to me. Bill’s work was punctual, neat, clean, and exceeded my expectations for quality and execution, a rare combination for today’s contractors. Bill was aware of my overall project schedule and he extended his workday to do work that I added in order that I was ready the next day for the next contractor to begin his work. He could have easily come back the next day causing a schedule impact for me. Do seriously consider Bill/Marz Tile for your project. It is very apparent that Bill’s skills are not limited to tiles.

Marx Tile installed our bathroom tile a few months ago. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work! It came out beautiful. We plan on using them again when we renovate our upstairs bathroom.

Absolutely wonderful job on my master bath. No detail is too small, through the whole process, from the planning, to suggestions to the meticulous work, and project completion. Bill installed a shower with tiled base, a stand alone tub & standing faucet, replaced the tiling on floor and walls. I could not be more pleased. No hassles, a very fair price, great workmanship. A+ (The painter is scheduled for later this week!)

For the second time, used MARZ Tile for our bathroom & our subway tile & glass shower doors look great. Would hire again for future tile work.

Bill recently installed my bathroom wall tile and floor tile he was a pleasure to work with always on time always returned my calls. Quality workmanship, neat always cleaned up each day. Bill Marz does beautiful work. He is a master of many crafts and brings his skill, his expertise and his high standards to the job. In addition, his price is fair, he is keeps the workspace neat and he is a pleasure to have around!

Marz tile is fantastic. Bill put down a kitchen and bathroom floor about 25 years ago, and it is still beautiful. 4 months ago, he tiled a different bathroom floor, and wall tiles for the shower area. He made my bathroom look beautiful, and when asked for his opinion, he gave it. Had some great ideas for a "border" placement. He shows up on time, cleans up after himself, and is a pleasure while in your home. His pricing was more than fair. I would never use anyone else for tile work. He will be doing my kitchen, when I decide on countertops, etc.

20+ years ago Bill Marz tiled my bathrooms and I loved the job he did! Time has passed and once again I Calle Bill to redo one of my Bathrooms. Once again Bill did a beautiful job in a timely manner. Bill is a pleasant trustworthy person who not only does a beautiful job but also keeps a neat work area and as I said before he completes a job quickly. I highly recommend Bill for any tiling job that you need done.

Bill installed a porcelain subway tiled backsplash in our kitchen and we were very pleased with the final product. Bill returned e mails and phone calls promptly and was able to install our back splash soon after we decided to hire him. One minor problem we had was that small cracks were found in 2 of the installed tiles. Bill addressed this matter and returned to replace the tiles soon after we contacted him. It was a pleasure to hire someone like Bill, a tradesman with an excellent work ethic who takes pride in his work. We would highly recommend Bill and we would definitely hire him again.

I hired Marz Tile to change the floor in my kitchen from hardwood to tile and to install radiant heating. Other contractors had suggested I needed to remove all the base cabinets and countertops to perform this job at a cost that made my eyeballs pop. Bill was able to just remove all the kick plates on the cabinets, the wall moldings, and the appliances. The demolition and installation of the tile and radiant heating were done professionally and cleanly. Even his electrical subcontractor was excellent and worked clean. The finished project looks and works great and the price was reasonable. My wife and I along with my dogs (the main kitchen occupants) are so happy with our new kitchen floor.

Bill is a perfectionist in the best way! He and his helper painstakingly applied the small river rocks to my kitchen backsplash, working efficiently and neatly along the way. The project came out beautifully, at budget and on time.

I just had 300 sq. feet of tile installed by Marz tile inc. I could not be happier with the results.Bill Marz and his son came in an did great job on my kitchen floor.I put radiant heat tubbing on the floor so I had to have a mud job and then the tile put down .Everything came out perfect.Bill Marz came when he said he would and left with the job completely cleaned up and ready for the next stage of the job.He also went above and beyond to put in two wood saddles in the doorways.They were very professional and easy to work with.I would not use anyone else for my future tile work.VERY VERY happy.The Biggarts.

Honest, Reliable, Creative AND Genuinely Nice. Truly an unbelievable combination considering our past experiences with contractors. We needed tile work done in our kitchen - an older kitchen, a NOT-level kitchen, a kitchen that probably anyone else would have said, "No, I don't think so." Not only did Bill agree to do the work, he did ALL the work, even the things that were unforeseen that he could have said were not part of the deal. He was responsive before and during the process, punctual and flexible when issues arose and changes needed to be incorporated. Our kitchen looks GREAT and we are SO grateful he agreed to do the work for us. Do not think twice if he agrees to do your work for you. You won't regret your decision.

We are very happy that we waited for Marz Tile to do our bathroom. He was very cooperative and knowledgeable. He stayed until the job was finished. It took a little longer than anticipated but was well worth it. Will certainly have him for our next project.

I would highly recommend Marz Tile. We had porcelain tiles put down in 3 rooms and a hallway. We discussed what we wanted and got some excellent suggestions from Bill. He gave us a detailed, written estimate. He started on the day we scheduled, came on time each day and worked everyday until the job was completed. Bill and his son were great. Very polite. We had no problem leaving the house each day. They would lock up the house at the end of the day if we weren't home yet. The work was labor intensive, ripping up hardwood and linoleum. It also was quite a mess. They took away the everything that they had torn up and cleaned up beautifully at the end of each day. Bill is very professional and very reliable. He is detail oriented and even saw to a few things that we didn't expect him to do. We were extremely happy and look forward to using Marz Tile in the future.

We hired Marz tile to remove our hardwood floors and replace with porcelain tile. This labor-intensive project was completed to perfection. They were a pleasure to work with very professional, neat and organized. They went above and beyond the scope of the project. Their craftsmanship is second to none. I now must save some money for our next project with them.

I gave Bill the ultimate job, to repair a bathroom remodel done 4 months earlier by a “so called professional” that took a month plus a little over $20,000. I told him that being a senior citizen this was going to be my last new bathroom & I wanted it to be not only a good finished product but a good experience. I should have thrown him out when he first screamed at me the first week into the job, but I felt I was stuck. I am embarrassed to admit to this, but I became afraid of him, never knowing what mood he would be in daily. Needless to say, the whole month plus the finished work was a total nightmare. I took many pictures showing all his screw ups. The “so called professional” felt he did a great job & that I was too fussy. In addition to everything else, he even screwed up the baseboard cover & the towel rack which kept on falling anytime I went near them. I called Bill & several others to fix the mess in my bathroom & get some estimates. Bill’s estimate was not the least expensive but after meeting and talking to him, I knew he was the one to fix this mess for me, even if it cost me several more thousand $$. I was not disappointed. I was told the repair would take 4-5 days & sure enough he was finished the morning of the 5th day. Bill & his son Billy’s work was exactly what I felt it would be- PERFECTION. Bill pays attention to detail which ranks tops in my book and is something to look for when hiring someone. Bill was not only soft-spoken, a high class professional but a perfect gentleman as well. Bill suggested granite cover for the baseboard to match my vanity top (it looks great) because it was originally piped too far from the wall, that’s why the cover kept falling. I now absolutely love my new bathroom since Bill Marz fixed it. What more can I say about Bill except that I wish I met him before my nightmare.

Recently Marz Tile remodeled a bathroom in my house. It was gutted to the studs and restored with quality materials and expert workmanship. I found Bill Marz to be an artist in his craft and a man of his word. The work was completed on time and in a fastidious manner. I would not hesitate to use him in the future or recommend him to others.

Bill Marz, along with his son, completely renovated our 2nd floor bathroom. He started with a complete demolition. He rebuilt the walls, added insulation, put up a new ceiling, installed a tile floor in mud, installed a new shower stall with tile on the walls, reworked the plumbing, added lights & an exhaust fan, installed a new door, & painted. Bill is a professional who is very personable. He gave us a fair estimate. Once he started the project, he was there everyday until completion. Being a perfectionist, his work was wonderful. We are extremely happy with the final result.

Bill is the top man for the job. He's tiled my whole house, including 3 full bathrooms, kitchen, basement and hallway floors. Every job is done perfectly and in a timely manner. The project cost is for several projects over the past 16 years.

Bill was recommended to me from a friend. I hired him to re-model a full size bathroom in my home. I was very happy with the results. He arrived each morning on time (early) and worked the whole day through. He was polite & courteous and he cleaned up after himself. His tile work was fabulous and he has excellent carpentry skills. I love the way the bathroom came out. I plan on having him come back to do the master bath some time in the near future.

Marz Tile redid my kitchen and laundry room. Bill's work is excellent, resulting in a beautiful finished product. Attention is paid to details and to any requests made. Marz Tile just completed tiling my master shower and Bill did an awesome job, I highly recommend him. I don't recall exactly how searched online, but somehow I found his information on the houzz.com website and gave him a call. He returned my call promptly and was flexible to set up a time to provide an estimate. The day of the estimate he called me to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. He was professional in his appearance and come across as trustworthy. He took the time to go over a couple of options to integrate the tile with an existing knee wall structure. All other tile professionals I spoke to didn't give any good suggestions and really made it more of my problem to solve and to just tell them what to do. Bill quickly followed up with a written estimate. His price was in line with all of the high-end tilers that were recommended to me by the place I purchased the tile from. I had cheaper estimates, but I felt that I should pay the slightly extra money to get what I thought was going to be professional job. Plus he was someone I felt comfortable having in my house. I was right-on with my decision. Bill was able to slot me into his schedule fairly quickly (not always possible for the top tilers). Everyday he was at my house he was on time, he always put down canvas sheets from my front door up the stairs to my master bath and every day the place was cleaned up when they were done. The tile work itself was impeccable. Everything was meticulously planned out and measured before the work was done to make sure it looked good and didn't end up with odd cut tiles. The end product was exactly what we envisioned and looks like a high end job. I certainly will use Bill again for any tile work and even more (we will be redoing our Kitchen soon). I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional tiler. If you shop around, you may find someone slightly cheaper, but trust me - he is worth the few extra bucks not to have the headaches that I've been dealing with with some other "professionals."

It's been a year since my bathroom was renovated by Marz Tile. I'm just as happy with it now, having looked it over for so long, as I was when it was finished. All the tiles are iin perfect alignment. All the sealants are cleanly done. He also gave me ideas before I had him start the project, and his ideas were terrific! I have absolutely no complaints about Marz Tile except that I wish I had more work for him. I like the way he works. Also, he cleaned up beautifully every single day he worked on that bathroom, and that wasn't an easy job.

We met this contractor approximately 20 years ago and used him to do work for us. We continue to use Bill to this day, he is what every professional should aspire to be. Marz tile has done 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a foyer and a ton of little jobs throughout my house. Bill is a perfectionist-and his work speaks for itself. He came highly recommended to us by a friend who is very critical of peoples work so I took a chance. I initially hired him to renovate a full bath and 3 years later I didn't need to consider anyone else to re-do our kitchen. He shows up when he's supposed to, puts in a full day and when he leaves, there is NO mess to be reckoned with. No crew- he and 1 assistant do all the work. When he did our bathroom, there was a small tarp by our front door with a minimal amount of small debris and dust. By the time he left, he had swept, vacuumed and washed the surrounding area. My wife was ecstatic with the condition he left the place in .You wouldn't have known he was there other than the work that had been done. When he did the kitchen, his standards hadn't changed in the least. I do have to say that his prices might be a little higher than most, but in this instance you definitely are getting what you pay for. Again-his work is impeccable and I would not even consider using anyone else for kitchen, bath or tile work.

Bill Marz is amazing. Was referred to me by an excellent contractor who was renovating my kitchen. He did my kitchen and my mom's house and in both cases, the work was done on time and on budget. Lines are crisp and clean and floor levels are spot on. He is an artist with tile who takes real pride in his work. I have recommended him to all of my friends and am happy to do so here on Houzz. I would use him again in a heartbeat. If you need tile work done, you won't go wrong with Bill. MarzTile gets my highest recommendation.

His ability to lay out a job is amazing,the cuts made around the Bathtub are perfect. The bathroom has one outside corner,I asked Bill not to use Bullnose tile around this corner, but to miter the porcelain tile. It came out perfect! The job is over one year old, and it looks like the day he finished it. I highly recommend him.
