Creative Union is a dream team to work with. Their commitment to maximizing small spaces, reclaiming wasted corners into functional and efficient and inviting spaces is impeccable. Their strength is their incredible ability to listen intently to clients’ vision and bring forward a design concept, mixed artfully with their signature style and design philosophy, that exceeds expectations. They turned our weird angled loft, our frustrating kitchen and our small kids bedroom into an airy, spacious, sleek and super cool heaven. They work with a team of highly skilled and detail-oriented contractors, tradespeople and craftsmen that deliver the design intact and with high quality. What we anticipated as a scary and daunting reno turned into a creative and exciting process.

We have worked with Creative Union on two projects now and would highly recommend them. They have a wonderful architectural sense, excellent attention to detail, great follow-through and a warm manner with clients. They really took the time to listen to our ideas and preferences, and were willing to work with us to preserve parts of our existing spaces that we really liked, while helping us let go of the parts that no longer worked for us. We used Creative Union for an extensive top to bottom home reno. Their ideas helped us achieve what we needed and wanted from our home. Living in the new space now for almost 2years I can confidently say the layout is efficient and the design is practical yet stylish. Thank you Tim & Claudia!

Creative Union Network assisted us with a large project that included the full renovation of two bathrooms, new floors, and a built-in cabinet solution (floor to ceiling) for a den in our hard loft. Creative Union worked with us from the initial conception / needs assessment all the way through to the very end of the project, managing construction issues every step of the way and helping us with the choice of materials for the smallest of details. The end result is truly breathtaking and has provided us with an obscene amount of storage, thus fulfilling our needs beyond our wildest expectations! Plus it looks cool, "like in a magazine" as one of our friends commented. Highly recommended.

A few months back Tim & Claudia reached out to see if I'd be interested in documenting a small project for them. Since then I've had the opportunity to visit a handful of their spaces. When I first arrive to a shoot I always do a walkthrough to understand the scope of work. Each home I've visited for Tim & Claudia has demonstrated an incredible amount of thought, care, and craftsmanship. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in their clients is refreshing. On set, they are very personable and quick to provide feedback. Couldn't ask for a better client! It's always a pleasure to work with them.

Hiring Creative Union Network as the Architect of our project was a great decision. Claudia and Tim are a great team! They understood what we needed and provided many elements into the design that we couldn’t have fathom and now we love! Details like our CNC cut guard panel and colored guard wall were born from budget restrictions yet make our space truly unique. Their strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail were very important to us. They delivered quality design, always considering our budget yet ensuring that we spend our money wisely by making smart design decisions and selecting appropriate products and finishes and more. Claudia communicated and coordinated well with our contractor which made our involvement less intense while we enjoyed the process of things coming together. We can tell that they love what they do. It was a true pleasure working with them.

As a photographer, Creative Union Network is essentially the ideal client -- straightforward and concise in their expectations, friendly and professional in their communication, and always timely with very positive attitudes. Their projects demonstrate incredible attention to detail and colossal creative vision. It is always a treat collaborating with Claudia and Tim and documenting their latest endeavour.

Tim and Claudia put as at ease from the moment we met them. They were warm and welcoming and made us feel like our project was manageable and exciting, which felt very good at a stressful time! We loved the style of their work and were happy to align so personably with them, and to know that the scale they worked in had a wide range. Our design process was fruitful- they were patient listeners and great guides, hearing what we had to say about what we wanted and also offering their expertise and immense guidance. We have a good back and forth between design and necessity (storage!!) but except for a couple issues, found good common groud. They bring in an amazing team of skilled, meticulous and kind contractors and teams that we were SO grateful to be working with throughout our project. Issues around project management and communication surfaced as the work commenced, with some blurred lines around who was overseeing what and some decision-making but the most difficult aspect was working without any budget for the entirety of the project. While we anticipated spending more money then we set out to (every project does) not having a sense of what we were spending and total cost and projections was difficult and remained largely unresolved, leaving us both in the dark and wildly over budget which was difficult. Given that it was our first project, we were perhaps not as direct or firm as we could've been, hence the issue of communication rather than any ill-will but periodic meetings with boiled-down numbers would've been appreciated to review: this is how much we've spent, this is how much we still have to spend, this is where we can hold off etc-- Overall, the change in our home is immense and the work is beautiful- it is bright and spacious and feels competely transformed so while it was much more money than we anticipated, we are very greatful for the house we live in and the work that was done!

I've always wanted a reclaimed barn board table for my apartment. Instead of buying one from any regular furniture store, I decided to reach out to Claudia for a custom build solution. It was the best decision ever. I can't count how many I've received compliments about this great table/bench when guests come over to my place or see it in pictures. It's the center of attention and most beautiful piece in my apartment. Claudia delivered on budget, on time and was extremely helpful in assisting me with the selection of all materials that went into building the two pieces. Her European taste and approach to quality never disappointed. Thank you, creative union!

Creative Union designed and installed the front porch of our studio apartment last Fall. They came up with an exceptional design that used cedar wood planks and steel frames that matched the aesthetic of the apartment and its surroundings. In an urban spot like ours, the cedar wood looks and feels like a beautiful retreat, we can even smell the cedar wood when we enter and exit our home. The design itself is beautiful, modern, and with a touch of a nature-oriented aesthetic that we so appreciate. The angled wall of the porch is great to lean against, with built in benches providing a place to rest and entertain. We love that the top of the porch wall is also wide enough to hold a cup of coffee or small decor items if we wanted. The steel framing matches our apartment's steel doors and other motifs, and best of all, the steel siding to our stairway has a cut-out pattern that is an abstract image of our beloved dog, Fable! That personal touch made what is an outstanding porch even more meaningful and personal for us. The icing on the cake is the fact that the wall design is modular, with removable sections to facilitate moving furniture in and out of our raised-level studio right from a truck in the case of any future move. We highly recommend Creative Union, we have so much respect and admiration for their incredible talent, skill, attention to detail, design sense and expertise. It's a privilege to get to enjoy their design on a daily basis!

Tim and Claudia were always so full of ideas and solutions when trying to get this small but ambitious project come to life. Their European sensibilities and profound know-how satisfied both the esthetics and the practicalities of a small, busy but uncrowded space. Good communicators, passionate and thorough, always going above and beyond, with great attention to detail. I very happily have moved into this space now with my young family, and they have helped create what we all look for when seeking the expertise of architects, a place that immediately has the quality of home. They're also just lovely people to be around.
