about me: I am a city girl from San Francisco and about eight years ago met the man I was to marry ~ a Southern Gentleman who was also living in the Bay Area, but decided to return to his hometown to pursue a new career in teaching. So what's a girl to do? I packed my stuff and made the move of my life to make my new home in Georgia. About seven years later I have a lovely kind husband and delightful rascal of a little boy, both who inspire me to be my best.
I attended the University of California at Berkeley and also studied art and architecture in Florence, Italy. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from UC, I returned to Italy to pursue graduate studies in Cortona. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the University of Georgia in Athens. As a graduate assistant at UGA, I taught furniture design, colour and materials, and architectural graphics. Special studies included fabric and furniture design, papermaking, bookbinding, and the history of Twentieth Century photography.
My interior design work includes restaurants, medical offices, retail spaces, and the staging of yachts. My photography is on permanent exhibit in several galleries in the United States and has been published in books and national magazines.
