It started as a small custom-order business for local people who were building homes. As their homes were built, furniture was ordered. As the business grew, a decision was made to open a store front. Lighting, accessories, and furniture were made available in the store for purchase. In 2000, a new team took over the management of the store. Highly skilled with color and interior decorating, our team has worked diligently to provide our customers with the newest, the finest and the most beautiful furnishings, accessories and finish-out products available. Our exceptional team began creating exceptional interiors for the model homes of local contractors. From color to flooring, from lighting to hardware, our goal is to turn “nice” into “fabulous.” The store has expanded several times to meet the needs of both our residential and our commercial customers. Over the years, The Exceptional Home Center has become a trendsetter rather than a trend follower, while holding fast to our roots… custom orders.
