Sam went above and beyond to help in a desperate situation. His pricing was more than fair and competitive even though he knew my dire situation to try to get Fypon products quickly. The project was very small but he still made the necessary phone calls to get me the answers I needed very quickly.

We underwent major renovation/expansion of out kitchen and rerouted out stairwell to gain views of our lake. I found a beautiful newel on Hoizz but it was a handmade one of a kind. Unable to find any prefab posts that did justice I found Summit Stairs on line. Sam Foster was very enthusiastic and a delight to work with. It took a couple modifications to his first CAD drawing to achieve the size and shape I was looking for. The resulting 50 x 9 inch newel creates a wonderful statuesque figure at the base of our stairwell. Our contracter was amazed, he had never seen anything like it! Total cost $1,100 was very reasonable

Commented: Suggestions for staircase railing/balusters?The way we do it you do not remove or replace any of the handrail. You cut out the existing wood balusters and replace them with iron. Very economical way to do it.
