too! This planter is a custom made redwood box with a solid bottom. We didn't like the look of ceramic pots for this room either- but the tree is actually planted in a large ceramic pot (with drainage) inside. The redwood box just hides it and creates more of a statement. You could also get a false top
Love the planter for the tree. How does it drain? Gardener told us our fig leaf tree had to have drainage, but we just don't like most of the ceramic pottery.

We love Gingko trees and have used several in the landscaping of our store in Mountain View. Summerwinds Nursery carries Gingko's but they are relatively small and it takes some time for the tree to get established and start gaining significant height. We have also used Capitol Wholesale
