you want an industrial-style island, but you don’t know where to begin. “Start with a local commercial kitchen supplier," Cuppett suggests. "They may have manufactured units for sale.” You can also dig around Houzz’s database of furniture makers for a professional in your area.

Love the industrial shelving and desk paired with a soft chair and rug. Great option if you want a designated office area in a larger room (like a master suite) instead of as its own room.

question: we live in a converted clock factory in Brooklyn with a lot of industrial details, wood beams, exposed brick and pipes, do you think a farm sink would work? Or is it too countryish? artwork, mirrors and sculptures. Be bold, brave and adventurous and don’t clutter with decorations. ‘Warehouse industrial’ allows you to take your time to fall in love with specific pieces. An industrial coffee table on castors marries well with modern designer furniture. Make the large space inviting by using
individuality and items that are not mass produced. Visit auctions for mid-Century furniture and industrial recyclers. That old door could become your new bedhead.
