Kohler tub that requires an undermount installation. We built a knee wall in front of it and class it with concrete board. The top was floated in level with mortar a couple inches thick and the granite was set on that surface. The tile was then set on the concrete board. Lately I have been using less expensive
fiber glass or acrylic tubs with integral aprons and making them look more built in by gluing and screwing wood furring strips to the apron, applying concrete board and tile for a cooler finish than a fiber glass apron. I like the look and it can be done without special fixtures and materials.
