Is the fireplace surround made of concrete and did you use two sheets of granite for hearth? Thx, love it!!
Terrazzo floors. Pros looks different and easy to clean. Cons can be very expensive and hard to install. Can be found in kitchens and bathrooms. Can be common at times.

That is a concrete countertop. The edges are made from a templet.
The floor is stained concrete. There's carpet off to the side, but that is not cork flooring.

Where can I get the specs to install on my house? How could I describe this to a sub-contractor in order to get him/her to do exactly this?
