Did you use an insulated concrete block?
For structural reasons the blocks are filled solid with concrete. The block walls actually are mostly interior (the central spine of the building is block), so they don’t make up a large percentage of the exterior, which is principally stick framed

Are they reverse roll installation or standard roll? Do you have a picture of them down in this room? I'm thinking of getting these for my west facing facing family room - a reverse roll installation but outside the sliding
sliding door casing and i'm deciding whether to start the installation not just above the casing but up at the ceiling (8ft. ceiling). I don't plan on getting a valance? What do you think? I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
I have white walls and a hardwood floor, medium shade of wood...I was thinking of light gray roller shades, but do you think that it would look gloomy? I am worried that white shades will look super boring with the white walls (which I am not allowed to paint).

What is the appropriate spacing to install multiple supports for a double rod on a 155" window?
The wainscoting has a very clean and uniform finish to it, the same way that kitchen cabinets do where they come pre finished ready for install with no need to paint on site. I am planning a wainscoting project and would be grateful for advise on how to achieve this finish.
