“is new concrete. We had 2 or 3 roughly two x two feet by a coupke of inch high skid forms which were filled with concrete during the pour if the floor. They were deeply tooled to create a gridded pattern for us to use for testing. Then by trial and error we created samples and because if was the same”

...when concrete floors are poured, they don't need formwork - and I don't know that there's a way to do spamped concrete w/ a wood impression as it would be difficult for the strips to like up, unlike "stone" impressions where a random pattern is expected.”

“scored the concrete in 4'x4' grid. we did and acid "stain". it really isn't a stain because it reacts with the concrete chemically.. grinded it down.(to expose aggregate) but i have forgotten the product we used to seal the floor! i think it was a wet seal normally used for wood. it has a nice "wet" glossy”
