Beautiful!! Are the large square slabs colored, salted concrete or a natural stone?
$150/ton delivered to our site in DFW. We budget around $12-$13 per face square foot of exterior walls to buy all the materials and pay the labor to install the stone. The smear is just the mortar that the stone was laid up in, and was not completely cleaned off. We used a buff mortar mix which is regular

Todd, did you add any color to the slabs or is that just the color of the concrete? It almost has a blue/ grey color

How did the pot lights get installed into the wood?
into. It would also help to install stainless steel grab bars securely attached to the wall or tub surface. That will give you something to hang on to as you ease yourself into the tub. Have fun with your project ! Dan

Is that precast concrete for the siding?
Did the mason pour the concrete or did they use precast blocks for the siding?
Charles - the garage is cast in place concrete. The joints you see are the form panel joints that we specified.
Thanks for your question! You are correct, the siding is Nu-Wave corrugated by AEP Span. It is in the Zatique II finish and is installed as a rain screen on 5/8" hat channels on building paper. You'll note that the corners are mitered (no corner trim). This required the use of an

What is the stone trim? I assume the lighter is concrete?
Blending stamped concrete into newly installed pool decking
We have a previously installed stamped concrete patio and would like to add a pool into our yard. How hard is it to match up the stamped? What other options would we
create contrast between the old patio and the new patio by installing a completely different type of concrete around the pool. This may give the effect of creating a separate space between the new pool patio and the existing stamped concrete deck.
It can be extremely difficult to match new concrete or stamped concrete to existing concrete of any kind. Two suggestions. Either strip,re-stain, and seal your existing patio simultaneously with the new concrete patio to blend the new and the old and try to match them up as closely as possible. Otherwise
