type of paint was used? Regular wall paint? And....where can I buy the table?
Wow. That's a great effect. I guess you can probably do it by dipping the top, but you could also just mask all but the top portion off and paint it that way. Really cool.
The table is custom, check the description for this photo for info on the maker. As for the paint, I am
probably interior latex paint with at least a semigloss finish.
Paint the top! What a great idea!
Only paint a portion of the chairs?

Like the painted wooden plank walls
Wall Technique-- While they weren't used for this project, we are big fans of milk paints. With appropriate expectations and application techniques

Painted white wood paneled walls. To do or not to do?
of the interior had only one coat of paint on it from 1857 until the 1970s. This bedroom still had the original paint, as well as scribbled notes from 1931 regarding the number of bales of cotton that year. The team flaked off the loose paint and then preserved what was left with conservator's coating
take your painting a bit further than most. Antiquing the walls adds character to a simple white paint job.Would you paint wood paneling? Have your say in the Comments!
artist painted this like he would a large scale painting. The random quality of strokes and visual plays on shading and color to create drama are signs of a true artist.
I really like the paint technique.
Great painting and floor ideas for entryway living room
Love that wall technique-glazes? Love that you can pull in additional color this way, and that it is slightly toned down.

me the paint color and brand?
some old paint cans in the garage that never made it into the trash & were stored w/ the exterior paints by mistake. Both paints were from SW & were SW color #1096 & SW mixed up Benjamin Moore's "Baked Cumin" for us (they can look the color up & do the same one). The primer on the walls was likely tinted
It's Sherwin Williams paint throughpout the house. The trim is Dover White (same as outside). Don't have info recorded on most wall colors, all old paint cans recently thrown away when storage area cleaned out. But the color combo of the entry & loft is a caramel & a lighter

wall I painted is 14ft x 8 ft with double doors. I still have 2/3's of the gallon left. That was with two coats. As far as application... That is a different story. You get on look if you roll it on as opposed to using a brush. either are a great look. then after you let it dry for two hours you
in and paint ( using the same products) the going rate is 12.50 per sqft. So, it's cheap in comparison should you do it yourself. It took me 3 hours to create 9 practice boards. Some I just sprayed the activator on and others i used a brush, or sponge. ( it's as thin as water) http://www.hardwareworld

walls painted or is it wallpaper? How were the wall finished?
understand the technique noted on the comment above is not the method used on the walls in the photo you inquired about.
This is a specialty paint provided by our faux finish partners. The technique is Sugar Cane, the color is custom and we aren't free to share that information. Thank you for your inquiry
finished in a technique called Sugar Cane. It's one of my favorite finishes. Thanks for asking and let me know if you have other questions.
for the technique described. It is just another option - a different method to achieve a shiny reflective finish in the walls. Still another, less laborious, method for a shiny wall would be to use Sherwin Williams REFLECTION 7661. http://www.houzz.com/photos/327023/M-J--Whelan-Construction-bathro

this interior finish is made from slaked lime, marble dust and pigments. It is far more durable than paint and resists cracking. Prices range from $5 to $15 per square foot. Ceilings and columns will cost more because these are difficult areas to work on.
