It would seem as though the water would evaporate pretty quickly as I'm here in FL. Is this real stone or the fake stuff, and how much $$$?
I have a small space and wonder if this would work in it. Thanks, Gaifirstname.lastname@example.org.
but if it does not move this seems like a serious mosquito breeder. I wouldn't want that at all but certainly not near my front door.
Water features. If you've ever thought about having a fountain, don't feel like you need to relegate it to your backyard. Position your fountain by your front walk, entry or garden bed. Choose from ready-made fountains in concrete
Cool. A rock that's a birdbath...you could probably sit on it to if it were dry.
planning a water feature away from your entryway or foundation, you may need to hire an electrician to install an electrical outlet for the water pump. Be sure it's made for outdoor use and has a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter), which will automatically shut off if the system senses the current

metal wall to support the grass area. how did you go about doing that?
really like the concept, but how economical is the steel plate vs say stone?
What was used to back fill the grassy area?
was used to all the plants in this project.
Hi Susanne, this steel wall was fabricated off site as a L shape to sit on a supporting masonry plinth. There is a fair amount of cross bracing beneath the turf to prevent diviation within the steel.
I think it would be comparable. Of course this
A standard soli mix with a crackerdust layer to stabilise the synthetic turf
And how is it anchored? It looks like there is a concrete stem wall at the base of it....

searching for a weeping plant like those in the canisters. Can you tell me name of these or something similar that would survive in the sunny side of west Alabama?
What is the name of the plant that looks like a big green flower ?
Another plant that might do well is creeping Jenny (not a succulent; a flowering evergreen perennial). I'm in New Orleans, pretty much the same climate- when mine get plenty water and afternoon sun they grow fast and would have a pretty drapey effect.
going to suggest a donkeys/burros tail as well; I have some in a hanging pot that look sort of like that. They're sedum, and there are lots of varieties of sedum. I have some other sedum (besides donkeys tail) that would look like that in a high canister but I can't remember their specific name. If you

What is the name of the plant surrounding the urn?

This is a Jasmine vine (which needed a little trimming and support). Attached is an enlarged photo that shows the vine a little more closely. hope this helps. Drew Sivgals AMS Landscape Design Studios, Inc.

what is the stone called ?? Looks beautiful
HiHi, what is the stone called ?? Looks beautiful
This is not stone. It's DuPont™ Corian® - the color is Rosemary, which is a Private Collection color. Private Collection colors have random veining and look spectacular in the bath - Corian® is also very easy to clean and won't promote the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria. If you'd like to learn more
touch with a local Corian® Fabricator.
Grow a garden off the bath. You don't need to have a huge yard to create a unique garden feature. A narrow stretch of yard on the side of a house could be planted with bamboo for privacy, and opened up to the bath with a wall of glass. For more flexible privacy, consider
