Hello, I purchased three 15" harmon lights for my island which will be 10' long. I figured I'd space them about 24 inches apart. Now that I see this island and two lights, I think mine will look cluttered, I need to ask--how long is the island and what size are the Harman lights? Pretty please?
my island will be 12 ft (with curves at ea end) 10ft w/o - 4.3 deep - cooktop size? 36 in or range top 48? nice work!
Are these 15" pendants in this kitchen? And how long is THIS island? I have a 7 foot island
The cooktop is 21" deep. There is a pop-up downdraft behind it. The downdraft comes in different configurations. This homeowner opted for a single blower at the unit. You can add a secondary blower in-line if needed. It works well.
What are the dimensions of this island?
the cabinet the cooktop is in?
what are the island measurements? how much of an overhang is there on the front of the island?
I love the recess around the cooktop...there must be

Does the cooktop have a pop-up downdraft?
could you tell me how big the counter island is. I am hoping to do something close to this in my kitchen redo but need to know if it will fit
For the gas cooktop, isn't a hood or vent needed? I don't see any downdraft
downdraft since it's on my island. Does it work very well? Thank you!
We are struggling with the bar stool height of our island where we currently have a cook top
what material is the backsplash on the island? thanks
It is a Viking pro cooktop with a Viking downdraft unit. It is in the down position in this photo.

Most appliance dealers have access to a variety of downdraft vents, which can often be matched to the cooktop you are using.
I find that glass top cooktops like this are always showing smudges, and the grooves around the edge as well as the joint between the burner and glass is near-impossible to clean

12x4.3 is what i'll have and not sure if 36 in cooktop better or a 48 inch range top would provide a better appearance yet keep it well functional for prepping, etc.
centered on the island and centered with the window behind it so does that change your opinion. I love the island pic you provided, I also wanted to incorporate perhaps a sink/disposal at island but going with 48 eliminates that idea. no a big deal as the sink is behind the island at window so turning
turning around isn't an issue but having the sink/disposal at island seems like a nice convenience. realtors tell me open kitchens and cabinet and counter space are what buyers are looking for - and while my intent is not to sell, I do keep it in the back of my mind in case I decide in the next 5 or 6
What sort of downdraft system was installed for the cooktop?
Also wondering if the butcher block is a concern with splatters from the cooktop?
What is the size of island, how much counter space to right of cooktop
what is the depth of the island? thanks!
what is this island wood made from, can you put a hot plate on it or will it discolor?
What company makes the chandelier over the island
Where is the hood for the cooktop? Or is it necessary?
pancakes, etc. We are designing a larger kitchen / remodel of entire house and I am going to put the cooktop in the island again with no hood -- also going to put the sink in the island (we will have a 12' island). Unless code prohibits me... ;o)
What kind of cooktop was it? Gas, induction, or electric?
