Love the island color! What is the name of color or stain?
I have a brand new home with contemporary white kitchen. I want
this kitchen. What stain color did you use on the floor. was it custom mixed?
I've been trying to figure out exactly what kind of glaze or finish to put on my new black island. What color paint(s)
similar size kitchen with similar floors, appliances. I plan to have the same colored cabinets as well. What do you think about an Antique brown (dark) granite for the counters. Backsplash will be gloosy subways tiles. Island will be same as cabinets. Thanks!
paint the island and I love the island color done in this photo, could you please tell me the name of paint or stain color?
We are looking to do the same thing with an island in our kitchen. Are these wheels metal? Most of the carts I'm looking at they are :(How do you protect the floor. These carts are heavy without the extension. Thanks!
Is the island/cart one of a kind? It's super funky and cool!
I am in the process of designing a kitten for my home. Does the flow of the stove and sink on one wall work well with the flow of the island and refrigerator?
found the layout of this kitchen very convenient. I did most of my prep work at the island and the sink and stove were very accessible. I had to work with the existing layout given my budget for the renovation, but I'm not sure that I would have changed anything regardless. Good luck with your kitchen!

e the kitchen! What is the distance between the dishwasher and island, and between the oven and island?
This looks similar to the kitchen layout in the home we just bought in Clarendon Hills (that we are completely remodeling). I'm struggling to decide between an island or peninsula. I was wondering
of this island, and the space between the dishwasher and the island, as well as the distance between the oven and the island...I would love this layout for our kitchen but I'm not sure we have enough space.... We are a little limited because of a load bearing wall we just cannot move (or afford to move)
and the island is 36" (countertop to countertop is 33"). The distance between the oven and the island is 42" (countertop to countertop is 39"). The island is comprised of 2 -30" cabinets at a depth of 21" not the standard 24" which allowed for better clearance behind the island as there is a large desk

We are in the process of designing a very similar open plan kitchen/dining room/living room here in Denver, and are curious as to the width and depth of this main room. Just like in this photo we will have a kitchen with island, a granite topped buffet, a dining room and
what size is the main island ?
on the island? also, would you mind to share the particular name?
larger kitchen table (fits 8 chairs at all times) and can easily add two more. This includes having three barstools at the second island -- no issues of chairs bumping into stools. Good luck designing your new home. It can be a fun process, if you are working with the right architect!
a new Kitchen to a 100 year old farmhouse in northern New Jersey. The family uses the Kitchen a lot, so it was important to introduce large work surfaces, and a variety of spaces. Most important is the introduction of an oversized work island with a sink, wine refrigerator, and built-in walnut cutting

begun a Kitchen for a great client in Chester, NJ. The cabinets will be a combination of white with a light glaze, limed Oak, and pewter. White in any form makes for a spacious, clean environment. This is a beautiful example of a well planned Kitchen. Another thing I really appreciate is the quality of
