I know these cabinets were custom made but I am doing a kitchen just like it and I thought shaker style would be perfect because its timeless and with simple hardware change or other accessories in the kitchen and the lighting you can make a shaker style door contemprary

sick of my kitchen I don't have to spend money on changing the doors I can just change hardware and other things. Plus you can never get sick of a simple door like you can of one that has many details. And it's great for resale because anyone who buys the house can make the kitchen any style they want

Are these shaker style cabinet fronts?
need help with this. I love this type hood but not sure if shaker style cabinet fronts are dressy enough for the hood. Are these shaker style cabinet fronts? I love this look and it looks good all together. Please help!

detail. It does call for the door style to be a bit more "dressy" as you said. Attached is a close up showing the bead molding around the perimeter and a ogee stepped profile at the recessed portion of the panel. Hopefully this is not to late to be helpful. Cheers - YAWN

Remodel in historical Munger Place, this house is a Craftsman Style Reproduction built in the 1980's. The Kitchen and Study were remodeled to be more in keeping with the Craftsman style originally intended for home.
