As mentioned by the previous designers...yes, this is a bed crown or sometimes referred to as a cornice. I agree with B Fein Interior design, it is worth finding an upholster to do the work. Cornices/crowns should not be that expensive, it is the material/draperies

research the style you want. Print the picture and use that as your starting point for the upholster. Like I mentioned, the expensive part is not the cornice itself but the fabric. Depending on the size of the bed, your cornice will only take 1 to 2 yards of fabric...the draperies will take anywhere from 10-16
