A pull out for the kids, slide out like Bellas changing table that becomes an island just during homework time
zone near kitchen for kids to do homework. Or separate eating zone for kids when guesses arrive.
Create a kids' zone. If you have children and a good-size space, set up an area in the kitchen where the kids can hang out, do homework and eat snacks. This will allow you to all be in the kitchen together without the little ones getting underfoot.
dining area doubles as a message center with a chalkboard backsplash. If your kids do homework in a location like this, it’s a great place to post reminders about dinnertime or sports events.

So as to watch the TV while working out. Put mirrors on the wall of the TV and you can see the kids.
Best of both worlds for the kids and me

It seems to me that one challenge for many parents is finding a sitter for the kids so they can go workout. Childcare is already so expensive that adding another hour or two seems indulgent. But it's important for parents to make time

whimsical kid’s cornerThis is such a simple idea that has great visual impact. The addition of a twisted branch affixed to the wall and adorned with kid’s clothes looks like a modern work of art in itself. The old-school rocking cradle, floor rug and mirror make it an attractive and playful kid’s corner
